Bill has enjoyed over 30 years of coaching; with VIU University Men’s, Mid-Isle Youth and Ladies Premier League teams, as well as Metro & Selects All-star, BC Summer Games, Inter-Provincial League and European touring teams.
Bill has received much recognition for his coaching over the years, including NDYSA Coach of the Year and BCCAA Coach of the year, also numerous provincial and national championships at the Youth and Collegiate level.
But, nothing has been as meaningful to Bill as the success of players he has coached. Many of Bill’s former players are on university, provincial and national team programs. Bill has built strong relationships with many recognized coaching associates from around the world, who welcome the opportunity to be involved in Merriman Soccer coaching programs.
